Clinical Interests

Judy is an outpatient dietitian at UNC Hospital, where she specializes in renal nutritional support. This includes treating pre- and post-renal transplant patients as well as those with chronic kidney disease and diabetes. Of special interest to Judy is the challenge of working with patients from different cultures. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Durham-Chapel Hill Dietetics Association, the North Carolina Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the National Kidney Foundation.
