About
Kathryn’s interests include medical education and the arts in addition to a dedication to the care of the vulnerable. In addition to her volunteerism with the student clinic, Kathryn worked to understand the patient needs in the context of the social determinants of health model as part of a research project aimed at improving clinic resources. She has served as a facilitator for the clinical skills course, was selected by the Internal Medicine Clerkship director to serve as the Clerkship Chief, and worked as the President of the Art and Medicine Club. In recognition of her outstanding performance, she was inducted into the AOA honor society. Kathryn continues to play volleyball, participating in a championship-winning medical team.
