Katie grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her undergraduate training in Biology and Psychology at Ohio State University. She attended medical school at Wright State University where she grew to love medical education and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In her free time, she can be found hiking, lifting, playing any kind of game, or exploring breweries and restaurants with friends. Katie and her husband, Joe, are very excited to leave the Midwest for a new adventure in North Carolina!
