Kevin, born in Florida, attended UNC for his undergraduate work in Biology and Anthropology before he attended the John Hopkins University School of Public Health earning his MSPH in Global Diseases Epidemiology and Control. He then decided to return to the UNC School of Medicine where he has distinguished himself by having participated in a variety of volunteer, leadership and community activities including working at the Student Health Alliance Coalition Clinic (SHAC) and being Principle Investigator on a student grant examining the overuse of Cardiac Telemetry. Kevin, who is married, also enjoys archaeology, travel, woodworking, kayaking, hiking, camping, conservation and the environment.
