Khadijah was born and bred in High Point, NC, and says that she appreciates North Carolina in all of its complicated glory. She is also grateful to the north state for introducing her to many communities of thoughtful, kind, and incredibly talented people. It is because of these communities–which she describes as change makers–that she is ecstatic about staying at UNC for her residency. She also says that she can’t wait to see what her class is able to accomplish together.
