Kim also holds a B.S in Public Health. Previous work experience as a staff nurse includes cardiac stepdown unit and neonatal ICU, women’s health, peripartum, labor and delivery. She also is interested in access to medical care projects in Kenya and is the lead medical and sanitation planner for an upcoming mission trip in 2022. She has been an adjunct professor at UNC SON for several years and will begin as an Clinical Assistant Professor Fall 2020. She lives with her husband and two children along with three dogs and two rabbits. She enjoys all outdoor activities including hiking, running, waterports, bicycling.
