Sabrina Prime, MD

Before transferring to the University of Minnesota, Sabrina was a student-athlete at the University of North Dakota with the Division II Women’s College Swim team. She transferred to the University of Minnesota and graduated with High Distinction with a degree in Biochemistry. As a medical student, Sabrina was awarded a competitive Howard Holderness Distinguished Medical Scholarship and was inducted into the John B. Graham Research Society. Her work has focused on a prospective study evaluating guideline adherence to Active Surveillance protocols among men with prostate cancer and another study examining ways to better characterize anxiety experienced by prostate cancer survivors. She continues to enjoy swimming, hiking, playing with her young daughter, and working to rehabilitate and rescue at risk dogs. Sabrina will pursue further training in Radiation-Oncology at the Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Radiation-Oncology after this year.
