Sayyad was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, and moved to Greensboro, North Carolina, when he was three. He attended Emory University where he received his undergraduate degree in mathematics and economics. Sayyad obtained his master’s of public health at Dartmouth University prior to attending Georgetown University School of Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and traveling. Currently, he’s interested in both cardiology and gastroenterology.
