Sean grew up in a large family as one of five children. As an undergrad in South Bend, IN he studied Philosophy and Economics. After graduation, he spent two years teaching at a high school in Brownsville, TX during which he discovered a strong interest in health care. After spending one year working for the DOJ dealing with health insurance antitrust law, he finally made the leap to medicine and went to the University of Chicago. In his free time, Sean enjoys playing pick-up basketball, hiking/running whatever trails he can find, proselytizing about Cleveland sports and being with his fiancé, Katie.
