Medical student and resident education. Quality improvement work on the inpatient medicine procedure service.
After graduating from residency at UNC in 2016, I could not have asked for a better position than with the Division of Hospitalist Medicine at UNC. I enjoy the daily work of taking care of patients in what is usually a “crisis” situation, while also working to educate the patient about their disease or illness. The diversity and complexity of our patient’s problems keeps the work engaging and exciting. I also appreciate the daily interactions with various learners (medical students, PA students and residents) and enjoy educating these future providers.
