Administrative Support Specialist
Tameka provides administrative support to Thurston Arthritis Research Center faculty, including Dr. Edwin Kim, who is Medical Director of the UNC Hospital’s Allergy & Immunology Specialty Clinic. She also serves as the Division Education Coordinator for clinical rotations in this clinic as well as the UNC Hospitals Rheumatology Specialty Clinic.
Prior to joining the Thurston Arthritis Research Center, Tameka served as Administrative Associate at the UNC Hospitals Allergy and Immunology Specialty Clinic.
Previously, Tameka served as an Administrative Assistant to Nursing Administration and Nursing Education at Providence Hospital, Washington, DC, where she provided full-office support to Nursing Leadership at an executive level.
Tameka received her B.S. in Business Management with a focus in Health Systems Management, and a Certificate of Completion for Project Management from The University of Potomac in Washington, DC.
