About
As an outstanding medical student, Travis was recognized by induction into the AOA Honor Society as a junior medical student. Torn between medicine and orthopedic surgery, Travis opted to pursue training in orthopedics and matched into residency at the University of South Alabama. Despite outstanding evaluations as an orthopedic intern, Travis continued to struggle with the idea that his true passion was in medicine and made the incredibly difficult decision to change direction and reapply to internal medicine this year.
Travis enjoys hiking and camping with his dogs, being active, and reading.
