DESCRIPTION:Christopher Caulfield is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine and Medical Director of the Observation Unit. His primary focus is on patient care in the acute hospital setting. He is skilled in ultrasound techniques with a specific interest in teaching and bedside procedures. He enjoys teaching medical students and residents with monthly lectures as well as bedside teaching on the wards. \nAbhi Mehrotra is Associate Professor and Vice Chair for Strategic Initiatives and Operations. He serves as Assistant Medical Director of the Chapel Hill Emergency Department in Chapel Hill\, and Medical Director of the Hillsborough Emergency Department.
