Our fellowship program director is Maureen Dale, MD. Dr. Dale sees patients in the Geriatrics Clinic at Eastowne and attends on our Inpatient Geriatrics Service at UNC Hospitals Hillsborough Campus. She served as medical director of the inpatient geriatrics service for 5 years, and as an alumna of the fellowship program, loves how the program is able to meet the needs of fellows with a broad array of career interests. Margaret Drickamer, MD, is the Associate Program Director for Education and Clinical Care. She was a fellowship program director for over 35 years, first at Yale University, and then at UNC. She is the Assistant Medical Director of UNC Hospice, and sees patients in the Geriatrics Clinic at Eastowne.

Laura Hanson, MD, MPH, is the Associate Program Director for Research and Quality Improvement. She is the Medical Director of the UNC Palliative Care Program, and sees patients on the inpatient palliative care consultative service and at Carol Woods Continuing Care Retirement Community.

Angela Williamson is our Program Coordinator.
