Why did you chose this program?

I chose UNC Geriatrics because there is no program like it! The program provides not only superb training in geriatrics, but the support to find and grow your own interests within geriatrics. UNC Geriatrics prepares you for a lifetime of an enjoyable and fulfilling career, because the leadership genuinely believes in fellows focusing on their passions within geriatrics.

What is your favorite thing about UNC Geriatrics and/or UNC?

The community! Having the opportunity to train at UNC for residency, I had the privilege of working with UNC Geriatrics faculty and I knew that I wanted to grow up and be like them! They are all passionate about their work, great physicians, and wonderful humans.

What do you love about living in the Triangle?

The diversity of the activities locally and across the state! On a day off, you can escape to nature, other cities, the beach, and or the mountains – even for a day trip!
