Project: Deprescribing of Anti-dementia Medications

Link Medicare claims, Part D prescription drug data, and Minimum Data Set (MDS) resident assessments to generate evidence regarding risk and benefits associated with de-prescribing acetylcholinesterase inhibitors in nursing home residents with advanced dementia. Conducted through the Patrick and Catherine Weldon Donaghue Medical Research Foundation and the Pittsburgh Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center.
