The UNC School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has named Yolanda Scarlett, MD, as the new Director for Underrepresented Trainee Access and Success. Scarlett is a proud alumnus of the UNC School of Medicine, as well as a graduate of the UNC Department of Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship. She is a North Carolina native and spent her formative years in Orange and Durham counties.
