Inflammatory bowel disease; Eosinophilic esophagitis; Biomarkers Diagnostic and predictive modeling; Functional data and machine learning

My research interests are in diagnostics and predictive modeling of gastrointestinal disease, with a clinical interest in inflammatory bowel disease. I am interested in the use of high-dimensional data and functional data analysis incorporating machine learning methods. I hope to advance the field of precision medicine for the care of patients with gastrointestinal diseases through translational research.
