Wake Area Health Education Center is accredited by the SSCC to provide<br \/>\ncontinuing medical education for physicians.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physician Credit<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Wake Area Health Education Center designates this live educational activity for a maximum of <strong>6.0 <\/strong><em>AMA PRA Category 1 Credits <\/em><sup>TM<\/sup>. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physician Assistants<br \/>\n<\/strong>AAPA accepts certificate of participation for educational activities certified for <em>AMA PRA Category 1 Credits\u2122 <\/em>from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician Assistants may receive a maximum of <strong>6.0 <\/strong>hours of Category 1 credit for completing this program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nurse Practitioners<br \/>\n<\/strong>Wake AHEC designates this continuing education activity as meeting the criteria for <strong>6.0<\/strong> contact hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.5 Pharmacotherapeutic Contact Hours indicated by an asterisk* on the agenda<br \/>\n<\/strong>Wake Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Nursing Education is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center\u2019s Commission on Accreditation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wake AHEC will provide up to <strong>6.0 <\/strong>contact hours to participants.<\/p>\n<p>A participant must attend 100% of the program to receive credit.
