Areas of Interest

Advanced therapeutic endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), both diagnostic and therapeutic, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), with a focus on pancreaticobiliary disease and obstruction.  Research interests include development of and improvement in endoscopic techniques that offer less invasive alternatives to the treatment of a wide range of pancreaticobiliary pathology.

About

My career interests focus on the ever expanding role of endoscopy in the treatment of complex GI diseases.  Many conditions which were previously treated with surgery and/or external drains are gaining endoscopic approaches, which can be less invasive and better tolerated.  Through the advancement of this field I hope to expand ways we can help our patients battle and recover from often debilitating disease.
