Dr. Henrik Toft S\u00f8rensen is Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and Department Chair at Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark. An gastroenterologist\/hepatologist and internist by clinical training, he also has doctoral degrees in Health Services Research, Clinical Epidemiology and Science. He focuses on chronic disease, in particular cancer epidemiology and the epidemiology of gastrointestinal disorders. He is the leader of several international studies and is working with Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology on eosinophilic esophagitis and the epidemiology of colorectal cancer and its precursor.
