I am passionate about medical education and try to teach my patients about their liver disease, reassure when possible, and help them navigate our overly complex health care system. I am actively involved in the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, where I have impacted hepatology training and educated providers and patients about COVID-19 and liver disease.
