About
I specialize in the management of patients with acute leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms. My research focuses on developing novel therapies and innovative methods to improve clinical outcomes in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). As the Chief of the Leukemia Research Program at University of North Carolina, I oversee and lead our clinical and translational research program which offers a multitude of cutting edge early phase clinical trials for patients with acute and chronic leukemia’s.
