The 2023 Society of Hospital Medicine Converge took place in Austin, Texas and featured many of the Division of Hospital Medicine’s talented and dedicated faculty members. In total seventeen vignettes, nine research posters and four talks were presented by our hospital medicine providers. Drs. Nicholas Piazza and Evan Raff organized a well-attended Triangle Society of Hospital Medicine chapter gathering and the chapter received national recognition with a Platinum Award under their leadership. Another highlight was the successful implementation of Dr. Ria Dancel’s workshop, “Survive! The POCUS Apocalypse,” where participants used POCUS to solve escape-room problems.
