Mina Hosseinipour, MD, MPH

Mina Hosseinipour, professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases, was honored with the Distinguished Teaching Award for Post-Baccalaureate Instruction, given annually to acknowledge the UNC-Chapel Hill’s commitment to outstanding teaching and mentoring. Kenya McNeal-Trice, professor in the UNC Department of Pediatrics, and Eileen Burker, PhD, professor in the UNC Department of Allied Health Sciences were also recipients of the award.

Hosseinipour is the scientific director for the UNC Project-Malawi and member of the UNC Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases.
