Third year ID fellow Sarah Rutstein, MD, PhD (co-I Farel, Go, Napravnik) was awarded a $50K pilot grant from the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute (NC TraCS).

NC TraCS supports and funds translational research to improve the health of North Carolina communities. The institute’s Translational Research Matched Pilot Program encourages novel clinical and translational research. Awardees receive access to the institute’s research services and expertise to support their project.

Rutstein’s project title is Does it move the needle? Characterizing long-acting injectable antiretroviral therapy eligibility, uptake, and integration at UNC. Rutstein will be utilizing NC TraCS services in biomedical informatics, clinical data resources, community engagement/dissemination, and grant proposal development.
