Pursuit of Healthcare Equity For Women of Color

In November 2020, Dr. Ada Adimora co-authored Priorities for the new administration in the Lancet series on HIV in the USA.

In this comment, the authors state: 

“The US reckoning on racial injustice is likely to be a signature policy focus of the incoming administration—the first to include a woman as Vice President, and to include a woman of colour. The nation’s enormous HIV disparities, and the COVID-19 disparities which have followed, must be part of that policy debate.”

Dr. Adimora’s career is marked by an over three-decade-long commitment to HIV-related health disparities research and pursuit of healthcare equity for women of color.
