I came to UNC because the ICHID program is well structured to cover clinical and research experience needed for ID fellows to advance their career in transplant and immune compromised host infections.

I am interested in understanding the changing epidemiology and treatment of resistant organisms such as NTM and fungi in immune compromised host and understand the ways to improve antimicrobial stewardship and minimize graft rejection related to infection.
