Liz is a senior undergraduate student double majoring in Biology and Economics with a minor in Chemistry. She is interested in the molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases and their impacts on public health policy. Liz is currently assisting Dr. Boyce with investigating the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection among communities and front-line health care workers in North Carolina.

Outside of IDEEL, Liz enjoys volunteering with underserved communities, serves as a peer instructor for Biochemistry and Advanced Cell Biology, and is Co-Curator of TEDxUNC.
