Emily Sickbert-Bennett, PhD, MS, associate professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases and director of UNC Medical Center Infection Prevention, offers insights on various real-life aspects of living through a pandemic as the state and country “re-open.”

“I have had many friends and family members ask me, can I do this, or should I do this?” said Sickbert-Bennett. “As we begin to reintroduce interactions back into our lives, I think it’s important for everyone to consider what’s most important to them, because we can’t go back to doing all things at once.”
