href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/nephrology-hypertension\/patient-care\/locations\/\">maps and locations pages<\/a>\u202ffor more information about parking and wayfinding.<\/li>\n<li>Look on our\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unchealthcare.org\/coronavirus\/\">COVID-19 page<\/a>\u202fto find the latest information about pre-visit precautions, and allot extra arrival time to make sure these can be done before your appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Virtual Visit<\/h3>\n<p><a name=\"virtual-visit\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verify the time of your appointment, and make sure that your contact number is correct in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/nephrology-hypertension\/patient-care\/mychart-information\/\">MyChart<\/a>.\u202f If it is incorrect, please update it in MyChart or MyChart-message us for assistance.\u202fPlease make sure your notifications are active, as that allows you to receive text alerts.<\/li>\n<li>Currently, we are calling patients a day before the appointment to review your visit.\u202f We are transitioning to a same-day text or call, 20 to 30 minutes prior to your appointment.\u202f Please be prepared to review your medications, allergies, and pharmacy information at that time.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that you are in a place with stable internet, privacy, and that is reasonably quiet to help give you the best visit quality rule-thin osc-rule\" \/>\n<h2>During Your Visit<\/h2>\n<h3>In-Person Visits<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in.\u202f If your appointment is at Eastowne, check-in is on the third floor.<\/li>\n<li>Masks will be required for providers, staff, and patients while we are following COVID-19 precautions.\u202f Please refer to our\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unchealthcare.org\/coronavirus\/\">COVID-19 page<\/a> for more information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Virtual Visit<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>When you schedule your appointment, you will be instructed whether to logon to MyChart or to wait for a text message with a link to begin your visit.<\/li>\n<li>We are making every effort to keep our appointments on schedule. However, if you do not receive a call within 30 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, please contact the clinic staff at (984) 974-5706.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr  style=\"margin:30px 0\"class=\" rule-thin osc-rule\" \/>\n<h2>After Your Visit<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Your provider may schedule tests for you.
