She is on the Board of Directors at NephCure, and at the Kidney Health Initiative, a public-private partnership between the FDA and American Society of Nephrology. She is a past Associate Medical Director at a local dialysis unit, completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of North Carolina and her nephrology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.<br \/>\nShe has\/or is serving on a several KHI Workgroups: Surrogate Endpoints for IgA Nephropathy\/ FSGS\/ C3G, APOL1 Mediated Kidney Diseases (Steering Committee), Pediatric IgAN, and Barriers to CKD patient participation in CV Trials.
