Dr. Nyrop’s research interest is behavioral medicine interventions to preserve and optimize function in persons with chronic conditions that are generally associated with aging. She has a particular interest is physical activity interventions to relieve pain symptoms, such as those associated with osteoarthritis or musculoskeletal side effects of cancer treatment.
