Breast Cancer, Older Adult Cancer Care


I am an Assistant Professor in the UNC Department of Medicine, Divisions of Oncology, medical oncologist and care provider in the Hematology Oncology Clinic. I earned my medical degree from the University of the West Indies and completed subspecialty training in both geriatric medicine and medical oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill respectively. I am a prior Oncology Ruth L. Kirschstein National Service Research Award appointee and Hartford Center of Excellence in Geriatric Medicine Scholar. My clinical expertise and research interest are in the care of breast cancer patients with a focus on older adults diagnosed with this condition.
