As the UNC Pulmonary Clinic at Eastowne is a subspecialty clinic, our providers are not set up to act as primary care doctors. In general, we prefer to see patients referred by other physicians. Please find referral information on our\u00a0refer a patient page<\/a>. If you do not have a primary care provider, we can\u00a0help you find one.<\/a><\/p>\n

Our providers are able to see you in person at Eastowne or one of our other clinics in the area, or when medically appropriate, or once established with a provider, via video visit or telephone visit. You may inquire about virtual options at the time that you schedule your appointment, though due to federal regulations, virtual visits may only be conducted with patients who are located in North Carolina. We do require new patient visits to be in-person to allow a full assessment of your lung health.<\/p>\n

Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to come to your scheduled appointment, so we may reschedule you and make the appointment slot available for another patient. \u202fIf bad weather inhibits you from attending your visit, we may be able to convert your face-to-face visit to a virtual visit with your provider.<\/p>\n
