Karen joined the bronchiectasis team in October of 2022. She graduated in 2008 from Youngstown State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her career in Cleveland, Ohio, caring for adult CF patients at the Rainbow Babies and Children\u2019s CF Center within University Hospitals health system. She then transitioned to the CF Center at UNC Health. Looking to broaden her knowledge, she then shifted to working primarily with Surgical Oncology and ENT patients, where she flourished as a clinical leader. Her passions lie within patient advocacy and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team in order to optimize patient outcomes.
