Lauren joined the Pulmonary and Critical Care research team in 2023. Prior to this position, she worked as a research coordinator at UNC in the Department of Maternal and Fetal Medicine. Lauren has experience in many areas of clinical research, including investigator-initiated trials, industry sponsored trials, observational studies, biorepositories, and device trials. She especially enjoys the regulatory and compliance side of clinical research because it promotes high quality clinical trials that keep patients safe and improve their quality of life. Lauren currently works on clinical studies in the ICU and inpatient units at UNC Medical Center.
