About

Why UNC:

I chose UNC for its strong reputation in allergy/immunology across the country and to experience the “Carolina friendly.” I went to Duke for medical school and my family ended up moving to NC, so I really wanted to be back home!  I’m only 2 months in, but have really enjoyed working with everyone and getting to know everyone on a personal level. Everyone has been so invested in my education and shaping me into a future leader in the field. It’s been very humbling.

Future envisions:

I enjoy underserved medicine and advocacy. I’m hoping on merging this interest into my career as an allergist/immunologist.

Favorite things to do:

Spending time playing with my sweet 5-month-old girl. My husband and I also enjoy trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends in the area.
