The UNC Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Program is a 2-year ACGME-accredited program (with an optional 3rd year of research training available). We have 2 available fellowship positions per academic year. Prospective applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency program in internal medicine and\/or pediatrics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submit the following application documentation through ERAS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Curriculum Vitae<\/li>\n<li>Personal Statement<\/li>\n<li>Deans Letter (MSPE) and Original Medical School Transcript<\/li>\n<li>3 Letters of Recommendation \u2013 1 from applicant\u2019s residency Program Director<\/li>\n<li>USMLE and\/or COMLEX exam scores<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For International Medical Graduates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>o We are currently only able to accept applicants with J-1 Visas<br \/>\no Please include an ECFMG certificate in addition to the above documents within ERAS<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviews, Signaling, and Ranking:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Signaling will be used during our review of applications to decide which applicants will be offered an interview. A signal does not automatically guarantee an interview in the UNC Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Program. <strong>We will NOT use signals during the ranking process<\/strong>.<br \/>\no Offers for interviews will be sent no later than the first week in August.<br \/>\no We will continue to offer only virtual interviews for the 2025-2026 application cycle.<br \/>\no Interviews will be conducted on Wednesdays from the end of August through mid-October.<br \/>\no We participate in the NRMP specialties matching service<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Please contact us should you have any questions during the application process.
