These problems are usually well-managed by a primary care provider or other specialist.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/derm\/patient-care\/\">Contact Dermatitis (Irritant or Allergic)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/derm\/patient-care\/\">Psoriasis<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Chronic Fatigue Syndrome<\/li>\n<li>Fibromyalgia<\/li>\n<li>Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS)<\/li>\n<li>Chronic EBV infection (\u201cEpstein Barr virus\u201d or Chronic \u201cmono\u201d or Chronic mononucleosis)<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to mold<\/li>\n<li>Chronic Lyme Disease<\/li>\n<li>Lyme Disease<\/li>\n<li>Toxic Mold Syndrome<\/li>\n<li>Erythema multiforme<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/rheumatology-allergy-immunology\/patient-care\/rheumatology-clinical-care\/\">Autoimmune conditions: Rheumatologic diseases, Sarcoidosis<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/rheumatology-allergy-immunology\/patient-care\/rheumatology-clinical-care\/\">IgG4 related disease<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>E-Consults<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are a\u00a0<strong>provider in the UNC Health System<\/strong>, and have a simple question about one of the above conditions, you may\u00a0place <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/rheumatology-allergy-immunology\/patient-care\/allergy-immunology-clinical-care\/e-consults\/\">an E-consult.<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Procedures &amp; Services<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Allergy testing: <\/b>Provides assessment of sensitivity to environmental allergens, foods, and stinging insects.<\/li>\n<li><b>Allergy shot clinic: <\/b>A clinic offering immunotherapy for allergic rhinitis (hay fever\/allergies) and allergic asthma, as well as specialized drug therapy for severe asthma.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Food challenge:<\/strong> Can be used to determine if a person has a food allergy. It involves eating a certain food in your healthcare provider&#8217;s office.
