Nominated by nursing staff colleagues, Lawson will be honored for exceptional service over the past year as a valuable team member.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDonna has been with UNC Health Care for over 14 years and has been with the referral center since we opened,\u201d said Clinical Manager Taylor Herndon, MHA. \u201cPlease help me congratulate Donna on receiving this award. We appreciate everything that she does for Heart &amp; Vascular.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In her free time, Donna enjoys traveling and reading. She is also described as being very competitive at board and card games.<\/p>\n<p>The award will be presented at the Nursing Staff Recognition Awards ceremony on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Annual Nursing Staff Recognition Week awards were established to recognize nursing and affiliate staff who consistently exemplify excellence in customer service, communication, safety,
