The UNC Panther Creek Medical Office Building (MOB) is on schedule to open for patient care on 1\/21\/20. Faculty physicians from the department of medicine will be welcoming patients in a new collaborative care model, made up of specialists from internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology and nephrology.<\/p>\n

Claire West, MD,<\/a> associate professor in the division of general internal medicine, and medical director of the UNC Medicine Clinic at Panther Creek, says the clinic will represent a transformative, more integrated model of healthcare delivery, without operational silos that can prevent successful reform.<\/p>\n

“Panther Creek will introduce a deliberate reorganization of primary and subspecialty care, and workflows to improve efficiencies. The medical office building will also house a variety of UNC Health Care entities in what we hope will be an example of the new ONE UNC Health vision.”<\/p>\n
