P. Ribeiro, PhD<\/a>,<\/strong> was awarded a $250,000 grant from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to study novel targets for CF airway mucus production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Division of General Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/directory\/dan-jonas-md-mph\/\"><strong>Dan Jonas, MD, MPH<\/strong><\/a> was awarded a $2.2 million grant to address unhealthy alcohol use. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/jonas-awarded-2-2-million-grant-to-address-unhealthy-alcohol-use\/\">Learn more.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Division of Geriatric Medicine<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/directory\/christine-kistler-md\/\">Christine Kistler, MD, MASc<\/a><\/strong> will test feasibility of pharmacogenomics to reduce medication adverse events.
