A <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/06\/25\/well\/live\/coronavirus-spread-bars-transmission.html\">New York Times<\/a> <\/strong>report looked at all of the ways that small particles can persist in the environment. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/directory\/ada-adimora\/\"><strong>Ada Adimora<\/strong><\/a>, MD, MPH, professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases, addressed what makes bars\u00a0 risky.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople go to bars so they can drink and socialize with other people\u201d said Adimora in the article. &#8220;They usually want to sit fairly close to each other so they can have intimate conversations.
