Construction of the Eastowne Medical Office Building is moving forward. Although the pandemic caused minor delays, and the timeline may continue to be adjusted, the current expectation is that certificate of occupancy will be received in January, and that clinics will be able to relocate in a staged manner in March and April.<\/p>\n

Clinic leadership teams are currently scheduling brief visits to tour the space, and are now better able to visualize how the space will support the evolving care model.<\/p>\n

Tracey Rankin<\/strong>, RN, MSN, associate vice president of ambulatory operations will serve as the associate vice president for all Department of Medicine clinics moving to Eastowne.<\/p>\n

This is an important step toward unification. Tracey has been working with many department of medicine clinics and procedure areas since 2017, and has a deep appreciation for both the academic and patient care missions. The Department of Medicines welcomes her to this expanded partnership.<\/p>\n

Ashwini Roy-Chaudhury<\/strong>, with the help of Jill Cunnup<\/strong> and John Vargas<\/strong>, continue to work with real estate and development to create dedicated coordinator space on the Eastowne campus, as well as planning operations of clinical trials unit. More information will follow in the coming months.<\/p>\n
