Federal public health officials said they hope this can help speed up the pace of vaccinations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/directory\/david-wohl-md\/\">David Wohl<\/a>, MD, professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases, recognized that the second dose should be followed in the time-frame recommended.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think we should be playing around with that kind of dosing.
