Shenoy, MD, PhD, associate chief of the Infection Control Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).<\/p>\n<p>The review, published in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/infection-control-and-hospital-epidemiology\/article\/routine-surveillance-of-asymptomatic-healthcare-personnel-for-sarscov2-not-a-prevention-strategy\/80CAC6B24F3D477BE65DFACFA754E25F\"><em>Infection Control &amp; Hospital Epidemiology<\/em><\/a><em>,\u00a0<\/em>found that such testing is unlikely to affect the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in healthcare settings and could even have unintended
