Al-Qadi<\/a>, assistant professor in pulmonary and critical care medicine has received the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdedge.com\/chestphysician\/article\/234989\/society-news\/case-you-missed-it-chest-annual-meeting-2020-award\/page\/0\/1\">Alfred Soffer Research Award<\/a> for &#8220;Respiratory variation in right atrial pressure predicts right ventricular dysfunction in patients with precapillary pulmonary hypertension.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This award is named in honor of Dr. Alfred Soffer, Master Fellow of the College, Editor-in-Chief of the journal CHEST from 1968 to 1993, and Executive Director for CHEST from 1969 to 1992.
