Interestingly, he nor his son have a middle name.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/945\/2023\/03\/alejandropic1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-63440 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/945\/2023\/03\/alejandropic1-732x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"474\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/945\/2023\/03\/alejandropic1-600x839.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/945\/2023\/03\/alejandropic1-301x421.jpeg 301w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 340px) 100vw, 340px\" \/><\/a>What\u2019s your role and how long have you been a part of our Department?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">I am a business officer for the McAllister Heart Institute, and I have been with the department for 2 years.<\/p>\n<h3>Where are you from?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">I am originally from Honduras, but have been in the states for almost 10 years (California, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina)<\/p>\n<h3>What originally attracted you to work at UNC Department of Medicine?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">I loved the idea of working for a department that has such a great purpose and impact in our society.<\/p>\n<h3>What is the most interesting project you&#8217;ve been a part of so far?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Not necessarily a project but just getting to see what some of our labs are working on, and being able to support them so they can focus on their research.<\/p>\n<h3>What do you enjoy most about working here?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">I landed on a great team that welcomed me since day 1, and I have enjoyed getting to know them.
