\"\"<\/a>World Autism Awareness Month<\/h3>\n

Throughout the month of April, people and organizations work towards educating the world about autism. These efforts have increased the awareness and acceptance of autism in the recent years. More importantly there has been a transition from curing or converting autistic people to supporting and including them. The United Nations will hold a virtual event<\/a> on April 2nd to observe World Autism Awareness Day. You can show your support by sharing your story or stories of people on the spectrum, shine a blue light on your home or business and engage in activities that support the autism community.<\/p>\n

Passover<\/h3>\n

Passover is one of the most important days on the Jewish calendar. Called Pesach in Hebrew, Passover recognizes the Biblical story of the Israelites\u2019 escape from Egypt. During the week-long festival a traditional Passover meal, known as seder, is held. The story of the exodus from Egypt is commonly told during the feast. Products made with yeast or other leavening agents are removed from the home and substituted with matzo. The holiday is determined by the Gregorian calendar. This year it will take place from sundown on April 5th to sundown on April 13th.<\/p>\n

Easter<\/h3>\n

For Christians, Easter marks the Resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion. It is believed that His death gives forgiveness to sins and His Resurrection symbolizes the Christian belief that eternal life is granted to all who believe in Him. Many celebrate with church services, music and candlelight. It is observed every year on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox. This year Easter falls on April 9th.<\/p>\n
